The Next Rung “Battle for Mental Health” was created as a way to bring awareness to the mental health issues that firefighters and first responders face on a daily basis. By these men and women entering the boxing ring and testing themselves against their opponent, they are able to raise their voices loud and show through great action the value of the lives of those they serve beside. Through this event, money is raised to help Next Rung further their mission and address the mental health issues that firefighters and first responders face across the nation. Just like these boxers, we square up daily with our mental health. Some days we win easy, some days we win through a grooling battle after multiple rounds, and some days we get our bell rung. No matter what, every day is a new opportunity to get back in the "ring" and go at it again. Next Rung "Battle For Mental Health" is now a proud partner with United Combat Association.
